A man accused of brandishing a knife during a heist at a North Houston pawn shop has been slapped with a hefty bond after deputies brought him to heel. The suspect, identified as Juan Juarez, is alleged to have made off with more than a thousand bucks from Valu+Pawn before cops caught up with him, authorities said.
According to a statement by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies responded to the Valu+Pawn on Aldine Westfield Road on January 26th when the suspect decided to rob the joint. With over $1,200 stolen from the register, he didn't manage to get far before being nabbed by law enforcement officers.
The constables quickly located Juarez nearby and took him into custody, later linking him to an earlier robbery at the same business this month."Juan Juarez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $120,000.00 out of the 338th District Court." said Constable Herman.
