A routine traffic pullover escalated into an arrest for a suspect on Harris County's wanted list. Constable Mark Herman's Office deputies detained a man during a stop on Northwest Freeway early Thursday morning who turned out to be wanted for vehicle burglary.

Identified as Brian Johnson, the man was pulled over in the 23900 block of the major artery. Before long, the deputies discovered he was not just another traffic violator but someone with three active warrants for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, as confirmed by Constable Mark Herman's Facebook post.

"Brian Johnson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the three Burglary of Motor Vehicle warrants. His bond was set at $15,000.00 out of County Court 11," stated Constable Mark Herman on social media. 

The deputies conducted the stop yesterday, demonstrating the routine nature of traffic enforcement can abruptly transform into a stroke of fortuitous crime-fighting, taken into custody soon afterward, Brian Johnson found himself behind bars before the day's end.
