Teenager Shot in Arm in Northwest Houston, Assailants at Large

A teenage boy,16 years old, became the latest victim of Houston's street violence after being shot in the arm Friday night in northwest Houston. According to the Houston Police Department, the incident took place around 11:00 p.m. in the 7600 block of White Fir Drive. The youth was reportedly walking with friends when an approaching vehicle stopped beside them, and several men emerged before opening fire, striking the teen.

Initial reports suggest the bullet may have tragically gone lodged in the teen's torso, with his current medical condition yet to be publicly disclosed. After the incident, the victim, along with his companions, managed to return to his residence. A separate account attributed to the Houston Police Department and reported by KHOU tells of a second individual claiming to have been shot at from a van in an incident that is believed to potentially be connected to the shooting of the teenager.

The shooters are still at large, with police scouring for any suspects tied to the overnight violence. They were last observed by witnesses conducting a search on Streamside Drive.
