Chaos erupted on Aerobic Ave when two teenagers attempted to outpace law enforcement this past Thursday. According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, a routine traffic stop became a fugitive chase as a driver and their passengers decided to run rather than comply. When deputies tried to pull over the vehicle in the 7300 block, the interaction escalated quickly into a pursuit situation.
The driver showed little interest in slowing down, effectively deciding to try and quickly shake off pursuing deputies. The chase was short-lived, however, with law enforcement bringing the vehicle to a halt. But the situation was far from resolved—the trio bailed out and sprinted away, prompting a foot pursuit. In statements obtained by Constable Herman's Facebook page, two of the suspects, aged 15 and 16, were caught and later identified as reported runaways.
The duo now faces charges of evading arrest and were booked into Harris County Jail. The third suspect remains at large.
Constable Herman declared in a stern tone on social media, "Both juveniles were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest. Investigation continues to identify the third suspect." This case is still under investigation.
