
In a routine clampdown on impaired motorists, law enforcement officers from Constable Mark Herman's Office made an arrest that marked a suspect’s third run-in with DWI charges, as reported on the official precinct's Facebook page. The latest incident involving Eric Gakunga unfolded during a traffic stop in the 24200 block of Tomball Parkway, where deputies noticed signs of inebriation and subsequently confirmed their suspicions through field sobriety tests on January 2.
According to the precinct's social media post, Gakunga had previous entanglements with the law, with two Class C misdemeanor warrants from Harris County already blemishing his record the incident further complicates Gakunga's legal troubles, as he was not only nabbed for driving while intoxicated but also for the outstanding warrants.
"Eric Gakunga was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the warrants and charged with Driving While Intoxicated - Third Offense. He is awaiting bong out of the 174th District Court," the constable's office detailed in their statement.
