A suspect wanted on a human trafficking charge was arrested following a routine traffic stop, authorities said Wednesday. Officers with Constable Mark Herman's Office took the man into custody in the 10000 block of Huffmeister Road.
During the stop, it was discovered that the male suspect had an outstanding warrant for Human Trafficking out of Hidalgo County. Sergeant Pleytez was credited with the arrest. "Great work C4!!" read a post on the official Facebook page for Constable Herman's Office.
The announcement of the suspect's arrest was posted on Facebook where the office frequently shares updates on crime, arrests, and safety tips. They also encouraged the public to download their new mobile app, "C4 NOW", to receive live feeds on various public safety issues in theirs area.
