In a close call on West Lake Houston Parkway, deputies have removed an alleged drunk driver from the roads after she nearly collided with a state trooper's vehicle. The driver, identified as Mylin Hale, was reportedly showing signs of intoxication during a routine traffic stop, which took an unexpected turn.
According to an official statement by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the incident occurred on February 11th, when deputies responded to assist a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper. Failing the subsequent field sobriety tests, Hale was determined to be under the influence and facing serious charges.
"Mylin Hale was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 15." Constable Mark Herman said in a statement.
Details of the near-miss and subsequent arrest were shared on the precinct's social media.
