A California woman has been thrown in the slammer after she was fingered for the shooting of a 66-year-old man in Mount Clemens, Michigan. The incident, which occurred early in the morning of February 23, left the victim with two bullet wounds but thankfully, he's expected to make a full recovery, reports FOX 2.
Local authorities, responding to the scene on Hubbard Street after 7 a.m., found the man in a serious but stable pickle. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the victim's wounds were non-life-threatening, according to information provided by Macomb Daily. He was promptly rushed to a nearby hospital and is holding up in a stable condition.
The 20-year-old shooter didn't try to flee the coop. She was nabbed by the law at the very scene without causing a scene, as was noted by WWJ Newsradio 950. At present, she's cooling her heels in the Macomb County Jail while the heat's on to determine the connection between her and the victim and what sparked the gunplay.
