True to his maximizer reputation, Fritz has been laying the groundwork for Houston Cougar's future success; with recruiting efforts in the Greater Houston region and the whole state, UH's 2024 signing class ranked No. 61 significantly up from a No. 103 ranking in early November, in a statement obtained by the Houston Chronicle, the class includes two "impactful-type players"—J'Marion Burnette and Liam Dougherty who add to the 36-member class composed of junior college and FBS transfers and high school players.
