
A man in his 20s was fatally shot on Detroit’s east side, causing the Detroit Police to launch a manhunt for the suspect.
The body was discovered in broad daylight on Friday, in a 2400 block of Concord Avenue, as confirmed by the Detroit Police Department. Officers responded to the scene around 1:55 p.m., where the victim was found dead with gunshot wounds.
"Circumstances regarding this incident are actively being investigated by our Homicide division," said the police in a statement to The Detroit News. The identity of the victim has not been released as of yet. Further reports from ClickOnDetroit indicated that there may be another victim of the shooting. The police are scouring the area for any leads on the shooter.
According to WWJ Newsradio 950, the investigation is still moving forward without a clear suspect in custody. The Detroit Police Department has not yet commented on whether they have a description of a suspect or if anyone has been brought in for questioning.
