Plano, another city in the region, trails considerably behind, ranking 39th on that same list. Garland’s rate surpasses Plano’s by more than 6%, which suggests a remarkable level of contentment among its homeowners. "With historic migration, occurring during and after the pandemic, Americans clearly reevaluated what home means to them," states the study by All Star Homes. They crowned Garland the No. 10 "Most Affordable Beloved U.S. City" nationwide.
