The man at the center of the storm, identified as Nicholas Noland, was not just contributing to public disorder yesterday – he was wanted on a felony warrant.
Noland, whose actions prompted law enforcement response, was thrown into the spotlight, after what started as a routine call for a disturbance. Upon arrival, constables stumbled upon a revelation that Noland was on the hook for an alleged indecent assault, a stain that just got a lot harder to wash away with his arrest.
The turn of events was succinctly summed up by Constable Mark Herman: "Nicholas Noland was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail for the open warrant. His bond has not been set at this time out of the 248th District Court," as reported by the constable's office Facebook page.
