HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A routine traffic stop by deputies of Constable Mark Herman's office swiftly turned into an arrest after they encountered a driver who seemed to be intoxicated late Saturday night. The incident, which occurred in the 4500 block of FM 2920 Road, began when the suspect reportedly struck the center median multiple times, calling attention to his erratic driving behavior.
The deputies quickly managed to locate and to stop the vehicle in question, later identifying the driver as Talon Robertson. Upon interacting with Robertson, the officers noted signs indicative of inebriation, prompting them to conduct Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The results left little doubt, as per the deputies, that Robertson was indeed driving under the influence.
In an official documentation of the arrest, Constable Mark Herman reported; "Talon Robertson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 15," as per a statement on the precinct's Facebook page. The moderate bond suggests an expectation that Robertson will indeed show up for his court date without posing significant risk of flight or further danger to the community.
