Law enforcement in Harris County took a wanted felon off the streets, adding fresh charges to her rap sheet after authorities responded to reports of a domestic disturbance. According to the official Facebook page of the Precinct, the incident occurred on February 5, 2024. On scene, an investigation revealed that Malone wasn't just causing trouble – she had physically assaulted and strangled another individual at the location. These new charges come in addition to her rap sheet that already boasted three open felony warrants, including for possession of a controlled substance, injury to an elderly person, and felony theft.
"Cynthia Malone was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the felony warrants and charged with Assault and Assault Impeding Breath. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time," stated Constable Mark Herman on facebook. Details of the alleged assault are still forthcoming as authorities navigate the aftermath of the arrest. Malone's legal troubles appear to have deepened with this latest confrontation with law enforcement.
