A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in March 2021 has been formally charged with murder. The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Wallick Eli Thompson, remains at large, while Houston Police Department intensifies their hunt for the alleged murderer.
The incident, which took the life of 35-year-old William Satterfield, unfolded at roughly 9:30 a.m. at 838 Green Meadow Lane. According to authorities, officers arrived on the scene to find Satterfield unresponsive, his upper body partially covered in concrete mix, and pronounced dead shortly after. Investigators have been relentlessly working to meticulously piece together the events leading to the homicide.
In a statement from the HPD Homicide Division, described on the City of Houston News, Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported discovering the victim behind a residence. Following an extensive investigation, Thompson was charged with murder in the 248th State District Court on November 30, 2023.
