Houston Police Seek Suspects After Mother Fatally Shot in Front of Children on Elmside Drive

Houston authorities are on the hunt for suspects after a woman was gunned down in front of her children last week, a case that has shocked the local community. The Houston Police Department disclosed that Isha Goff, 37, was fatally shot on the evening of February 23 at 3100 Elmside Drive, as first reported by the  City of Houston News. Goff was returning home with her two young sons, ages 13 and 3, when two unidentified men opened fire on her vehicle.

Responding to the emergency, HPD patrol officers discovered Goff suffering from gunshot wounds inside her car, the horrors of the incident laid bare as her children watched on, unharmed but undoubtedly shaken to their core. According to the City of Houston News report, the Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene, where they pronounced Goff dead, the grim news sealed as her loved ones grappled with the sudden, violent loss.

Investigators from the HPD Homicide Division, Detectives A. Graff II and E. Torres II, are spearheading the investigation. While little information has been released regarding the suspects, they have been described as two black males in their late teens to early twenties, as the community's desperate need for answers grows and the police's appeal for information becomes more urgent.
