A man has been hauled off to jail after a heated argument turned violent in Cypresswood Drive, authorities say. Benjamin Howison was nabbed by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office today, following a rumble that allegedly saw a woman knocked to the ground.

The ruckus, reported to have taken place in the 22800 block of Cypresswood Drive, began as an oral spat and spiraled into a physical confrontation, during which Howison is accused of ordering the lady out of his vehicle and then, as she reached back inside to retrieve an item, he floored the gas and sent her tumbling down.

"Constable Mark Herman’s deputies responded to a disturbance," confirms the office’s Facebook post, which names Benjamin Howison as the assailant now facing charges of Assault.

Whisked away to Harris County Jail, the roof fell in on Howison's freedom quick-fast, and while the gavel hasn't banged on his court or bond details yet, one thing is clear: the wheels of justice are turning, and for Howison, they may just roll him straight into a cell, Constable Herman's statement was disclosure of the grim prospects awaiting Mr. Howison.
