A routine patrol by a Harris County deputy took a lascivious turn when a man was caught in the lewd act of flashing people, officials said.
The deputy, who is part of Constable Mark Herman's office, was cruising along the 4600 block of FM 1960 Road on February 3 when he spotted a male suspect baring his genitals in the parking lot of a local eatery. The man seemed to have targeted the unsuspecting restaurant customers for his unsavory display.
Upon further probing, the suspect was detained and identified as Patrick Sandifer, as per a statement obtained by Constable Mark Herman's official Facebook page. The incident brought not only a wave of discomfort but also immediate law enforcement response, resulting in Sandifer's arrest.
"Patrick Sandifer was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Indecent Exposure. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 14," declared Constable Mark Herman in the social media post on February 5. It is yet unclear if Sandifer has legal representation or when he is slated to appear in court.
