A man has been nabbed for a heist less than 24 hours after he allegedly broke into a Loma Linda home. Juan Perez, 38, a resident of Rialto, was arrested on Monday following a burglary on Sunday, where he is accused of swiping jewelry, credit cards, and cash from a residence on Anderson Street.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, law enforcement managed to quickly track down Perez at a Home Depot in San Bernardino the day after the burglary. A search warrant led detectives to the stolen goods in Perez's vehicle and at his home, which included the jewelry and currency reported missing, along with a horde of additional suspected stolen items such as collector coins, watches, and designer bags.

Perez is now behind bars at the Central Detention Center Jail with a $150,000 bail looming over him. He faces charges for PC 459 - Burglary. Detective J. McDaniel of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department's Central Station is leading the investigation into the incident. The authorities have called on the public to step forward with any information that could be pertinent to the case.
