Love is in the air and Riverside County's marriage mills are preparing for the Valentine's Day rush. The county's Clerk's Office is seeing a significant bump in nuptials, as over 5,000 couples said "I do" there last year. With Feb. 14 around the corner, they're ready to deal with the lovebird onslaught.
The Riverside County Assessor–Clerk–Recorder’s Office delivers public service with a personal touch, and Valentine's Day, steeped in heightened romance, could potentially see more couples tie the knot. In a statement obtained by Riverside County news, Peter Aldana, the county clerk, suggests offices are poised for "each ceremony to be memorable for every couple."
Staff are prepping five locations for the ceremonies, set to happen in Downtown Riverside, Riverside Gateway, Temecula, Hemet, and Palm Desert. The historic 14th Street Chapel in Downtown is particularly poised to be a hot spot, where couples can bask in its architectural marvel and serene environment.
Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are ready to be taken head-on by the clerk's office. Couples should not forget to bring a piece of valid government ID and for those opting for a public ceremony, remember to grab a witness. The county clerk’s office is ensuring a seamless wedding on Valentine's Day, ringing with heartfelt memories. For more info, the Office's website is the place for a speedy online marriage application and appointment bookings.
