In a crackdown by Santa Rosa police, 37-year-old Cameron Glover has landed behind bars for charges that include drug possession with intent to sell and numerous weapons violations. According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, officers were dispatched on February 16 to a disturbance call at a hotel on Commercial Ct, where Glover had reportedly overstayed his welcome, armed with narcotics and refusing to leave.

Upon confronting Glover, who displayed obvious signs of being under the influence, a protective sweep of his hotel room revealed a smattering of drugs in plain sight. Detained by the authorities, Glover watched as detectives from the SRPD Narcotics Team were called to assess the scene. According to a statement released by the Santa Rosa Police, the subsequent search of Glover's room turned up a veritable trove of contraband – from suspected cocaine to counterfeit pills and hallucinogenic substances.

The narcotics weren't the only illicit items uncovered. Notably found was a loaded Sig Sauer 9mm handgun along with other drugs such as suspected MDMA and LSD tabs. Given Glover's prohibited status, possessing firearms and ammunition elevated the gravity of the situation. The search later extended to Glover's residence on Neotomas Av, where police discovered more firearms, ammunition, and firearm parts tucked away in locked safes.

In response to the discovery, specially-trained SRPD Fire personnel were called to crack open the secured safes. Inside, detectives found seven handguns and ammunition, enough to supply a small army, hidden beneath the mundane trappings of suburban life. Glover, who is no stranger to the law with his prohibited status, is now facing considerable time for his arsenal and drug stockpile. The charges slapped on him include, but are not limited to, possession of a controlled substance and narcotics for sale. Both are serious offenses in the eyes of the law. In addition, he is charged with multiple firearm-related violations, as reported by the Santa Rosa Police on their official Facebook page.

As a result of the investigation, Glover has been booked into the Sonoma County Jail, where he awaits his fate under the weight of California's strict drug and firearm laws.
