Snooze an A.M. Eatery has spread its wings to Stafford, opening its doors on Feb. 14. The restaurant landed in The Grid development, promising to shake up breakfast with a twist on traditional morning favorites. "The feedback from the community has been great, we’re very happy," Snooze manager Grant Elder told the Houston Chronicle.

The chain, founded by brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel, first popped up in Denver in 2006 and has since grown to nearly 70 locations nationwide. Popular picks at the Stafford spot include the Snooze Breakfast Burrito, Juan’s Breakfast Taco, and bread pudding French toast as well as miso rice bowls, proving that even burritos and tacos want to be part of the morning crowd. Revelers can now pull up a chair at the tastefully decorated 4,005-square-foot establishment seated between Tiff’s Treats and Torchy’s Tacos, employing a staff of—having filled the employment needs of 70 locals.

Snooze takes a stance on sustainability that’s as fresh as their habanero pork belly breakfast fried rice. According to a Community Impact report, Snooze recycles, composts food waste, and not merely content with serving customers, donates a slice of sales back to local and national partners.

Assistant General Manager Bria Welch is tuned in to the local benevolence scene, partnering with charities like Sole Loved—to provide shoes to kids in need—and Candlelighters, supporting families battling childhood cancer. In a statement obtained by Community Impact, Welch said, "We’re trying to bring a whole world of cuisine into breakfast."

Snooze beckons patrons to try something more daring than your average cup of joe. Thirsty customers can sip on Brewmosas, kimchi Bloody Marys, and Irish coffee among other spirited offerings. For the virtuous crowd, refreshing mocktails and an arsenal of coffee options await. And those with dietary restrictions need not fear, gluten-friendly and vegetarian options are readily served.
