The investigation, spearheaded by the Vallejo Police Department's Detective Division, eventually zeroed in on two minors. The detectives' legwork culminated in arrest warrants, as the Solano County District Attorney's Office confirmed. In a calculated move, Vallejo's own Emergency Service Unit snagged the first suspect on January 4, taking the youth into custody on Sereno Drive—a collar without any drama. The companion suspect eluded the authorities until January 29, when the Fairfield Police Department managed the arrest in Fairfield, CA.
