Authorities pinned 32-year-old Crystal Buenrostro and her 17-year-old son as the suspects, orchestrating the daylight robbery on Bear Valley Road, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's Department. The mother is accused of not only plotting the theft but also serving as the getaway driver. The teenage suspect terrorized a 14-year-old victim inside the store, demanding his shoes at gunpoint, the department detailed in a press release.
