With a background that spans over a decade in the realm of economic development, Sotelo's record includes an impactful tenure at the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation before to joining Denton's team. There, she spearheaded initiatives aimed at nurturing workforce development as well as manufacturing growth. She has also served on boards committed to linking education with employment and played a critical role in supporting small businesses through consultancy at the UT Permian Basin Small Business Development Center.
