
A suspected inebriated motorist was apprehended earlier this month after cops pulled him over on a busy stretch in Harris County.
Edwin Morales Pleitez, was taken into custody on March 2, following a traffic stop by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office the stop took place in the 4800 block of Louetta Road, as reported by a post on the official Facebook page of Constable Mark Herman's Precinct 4.
Exhibiting clear signs of drunkenness, Pleitez failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which led to the finding that his blood alcohol content was 0.156, nearly double the legal limit for driving.
"Edwin Morales Pleitez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," the statement from Constable Herman's office read along with the revelation that Pleitez's bond and court information had not been decided at the time of the announcement.
