The Houston Police Department is urgently requesting the public's assistance in locating a man who has gone missing and is living with dementia. Jose Garcia Granados, age 60, was last seen on the northwest side of Houston, according to a report by FOX 26 Houston.

Known as Jose Garcia to some, the 60-year-old man disappeared yesterday from the 6700 block of Antoine Drive. A Silver Alert has been issued by the Texas Center for the Missing (TCM) on behalf of HPD, as reported in a TCM X account. Last seen at 2:50 PM, Granados was on foot, likely disoriented due to his medical condition.

Granados is described as a White Hispanic male with medium complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has brown eyes, a bald head, and a notable scar under his left eye on his cheek. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a green T-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

In an effort to bring Granados home safely, the Houston Police Department urges anyone who might have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit immediately at (832) 394-1840.
