A woman has been cuffed after an alleged assault that stemmed from a verbal spat in North Houston, authorities said.
The brouhaha broke out on the 14500 block of Ella Boulevard on March 9, and deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office quickly arrived on the scene. There, they detained a suspect, later identified as Marina Hernandez, according to a Facebook post by the precinct.
As deputies dug deeper, they uncovered that Hernandez was purportedly in the throes of a verbal altercation when the situation escalated into physical violence against an unnamed complainant.
"Marina Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault. Her bond was set at $2,500.00 out of County Court 13." Constable Herman announced. Details about the victim or the nature of injuries, if any, weren't immediately available.
