
An elderly woman was reportedly attacked after a verbal dispute turned physically violent, leading to the arrest of a man in Harris County, authorities said. The incident, which involved a 76-year-old victim, occurred on March 11 on Burgh Castle Drive, according to a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman's Office.
The victim informed deputies upon their arrival that Frederick Marmo, the assailant, escalated a heated exchange by assaulting her, which resulted in "pain and injury." After the altercation, the deputies placed Marmo under arrest. His bond was later set, "charged with Injury to the Elderly," piling up at $15,000.00 in the 263rd District Court, as was reported of the assault.
