Newly Opened THE MOON ROOM on Melrose Avenue Mixes Cocktails and Lively Atmosphere in Los AngelesSource: Google Street View

Los Angeles nightlife is gearing up for a new addition as Jared Meisler, the man behind several popular bars including The Roger Room and Bar Lubitsch, is set to open the doors of THE MOON ROOM on Melrose Avenue this Friday, What Now Los Angeles reports. Meisler's fresh venture, in partnership with Tria Jensen Meisler, promises a fusion of cocktail sophistication and an upbeat party atmosphere in the heart of LA's iconic Melrose District.

With an interior boasting black lacquer banquettes, carved wood panels, white marble tables, and a collection of provocative art, THE MOON ROOM at 7174 Melrose Avenue aims to create a chic yet inviting space. Meisler shared his vision for the new spot, "The idea was to create a chic and sophisticated room that is not pretentious and feels fun," he told What Now Los Angeles. And it seems he's set on fulfilling that goal as a rotating lineup of energetic live performances and a dance-inducing music selection set the scene for lively LA evenings.

The cocktail menu at THE MOON ROOM is the brainchild of award-winning mixologist Annemarie Sagoi, featuring unique concoctions with names like Andromeda, Phoenix, and Orion, each priced between $12 and $18. For those opting out of alcohol, the bar doesn't skimp on creativity – offering NO BOOZE options like Grus and Fornax. A selection of small bites such as assorted olives and Marcona almonds lend the perfect accompaniment to the drinks. With a nod toward inclusivity, the venue rounds off its beverages list with wines, bottled beers, dry ciders, and even a High Life with a shot of bourbon or tequila.

THE MOON ROOM is set to welcome guests starting March 15, from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., making it the new late-night hub for Angelenos in search of a high-style gathering spot with a touch of glamour – the mirrored ball at the center of it all silently attests to that. The space embodies a transition from a mellow jazz ambiance earlier in the evening to funky disco tunes as the night progresses, according to the details revealed by What Now Los Angeles.
