
Two unidentified men are wanted by Petaluma police after a brazen daylight theft at a local home improvement store, authorities said. According to the Petaluma Police Department, the suspects allegedly lifted nearly $1,500 worth of goods from Friedman’s Home Improvement Center. Police responded to the call on March 14, around 5:50 PM, just ten minutes after the incident occurred.
Witnesses at the scene reported seeing the duo hastily select various items before bolting out of the store to make to get away in a red hatchback-style vehicle. The suspects' audacious escape was captured by surveillance cameras, and the Petaluma PD have since released images soliciting help from the public to identify the brazen shoplifters. "The monetary loss to the store was calculated to be just under $1500.00," police officials disclosed in a statement acquired by the source.
