The Philadelphia Police Department is urgently calling on the public for assistance in the search for Anisa Brown, a 15-year-old girl reported missing since March 26. Brown, who vanished from the 55xx block of Morton St. just after midnight, is a young resident from the city's 14th District, an area all too familiar with the ache of absence, the prickle of anxious waiting. details released by the Philadelphia Police Department describe Anisa as approximately 5’4″ in height and 288 lbs., with a medium brown complexion, brown eyes, and short black hair.

She was last seen dressed for the unforgiving chill of March in Philadelphia: a black Puma hoodie, black pants, and black Nike shoes. Those who know the adolescent note she is known to hang around the area of 11th & York St., a slice of the city that now, in her absence, holds the echo of her steps. Police have not given any indication of foul play at this point but, the clock ticks hauntingly for Anisa and those who await her return.

The police have been combing the area with the hopes that community members might provide a clue, a sighting, or anything to lead to Anisa Brown's safe return.
