A deadly car accident in South Philadelphia claimed the life of an 18-year-old male and injured two others early Friday morning. The crash took place around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of 22nd Street and Pattison Avenue, when a vehicle, for reasons yet to be determined, collided with a utility pole, according to authorities.
The teenager was ejected from the car upon impact and was found lying unresponsive. Despite the immediate area being cordoned off by police near Columbus Blvd., on the unit block of Pattison Avenue, the scene where the teen was pronounced dead at 3 a.m. was tragic, 6abc.com reports.
