In a routine traffic stop turned bust, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office nabbed a wanted thief in the 5400 block of FM 2920 Road. The culprit, Tammy Walker, was pulled over on March 3, only to be discovered as a fugitive of the law, carrying an open Felony Warrant for Theft. This is not Walker's first rodeo, as it was revealed that she holds a history of theft convictions.
The moment of truth came quickly after deputies stopped Walker, and an investigation swiftly to unfold her shadowed past. Walker, whose record is no stranger to the inside of a courtroom, now faces yet again the consequences of her alleged actions. "Tammy Walker was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. Her bond was set at $7,500.00 out of the 337th District Court," declared Constable Mark Herman in a Facebook post.
With the wheels of justice turning, Walker awaited her fate behind bars, the bond reflecting the weight of her criminal résumé. The handling of her case was left to the judicial system, specifically the 337th District Court where her bond was determined. As for Constable Herman's Office, their diligence marks yet another day's work in the ongoing battle against local crime.
The district court has yet to schedule a hearing for Walker as of this report. Meanwhile, residents of the area are reminded to remain alert and aware, knowing that the local law enforcement continues to actively enforce the law and bring offenders to answer for their crimes—doing so with the commitment to protect and serve their community.
