
A two-vehicle smash-up on Tampa Avenue sent five people to the hospital, the Los Angeles Fire Department said. The serious collision occurred at approximately 7:28 PM on Thursday at the 6800 block of North Tampa Avenue in Reseda, as reported by the LAFD.

Out of the five injured, LAFD reports indicated that "Two adult females in moderate condition, two adult males in serious condition, and one juvenile (teenage) female in serious condition were taken to area hospitals by LAFD ambulances," according to the LAFD.
When the fire department arrived on the scene, they found victims needing immediate care. Paramedics worked swiftly to set up treatment areas and prep the wounded for transportation. The LAFD's skilled crews worked diligently to manage the chaotic scene and ensure that all individuals received the medical attention they needed in the wake of the crash.
City fire crews, including Battalion 17, Engine Companies 73, 273, and 93, along with multiple rescue ambulances, responded to the emergency call. The LAFD cleared the scene after ensuring the victims were transported and the area was safe for travel. The traffic incident will be yet another consideration in the ongoing conversation about traffic safety and infrastructure in the Reseda neighborhood.
