The action comes after nearly two years of silence from H-E-B regarding a possible location in the area.
Though H-E-B executives have yet to disclose their intentions, the land grab has fueled speculation that the company will plant its footprint in a community currently relegated to a 20-minute drive to the nearest H-E-B stores in Pflugerville and Elgin. As reported by Austin Business Journal, the company has not responded to inquiries regarding the land acquisition.
Consistent with H-E-B's reputation for strategic development, Manor Crossing is poised to become a significant commercial location, with construction expected to begin in 2025.
