A Homeland man found himself in cuffs after an investigation into a grand theft at a Chino Hills auto care shop. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department apprehended Donovan Devereaux, 41, following a March heist where he allegedly made off with a $3000 haul.

The theft occurred at the Firestone Complete Auto Care on the 15800 block of Soquel Canyon Parkway, as reported in a press release. Devereaux allegedly executed the theft in broad daylight, entering an open business to pilfer the pricey goods. Detectives obtained a warrant leading to his arrest during an incisive traffic stop back in Homeland.
