On April 9, victims were lured via social media by a woman to an apartment on North Main Street, where they were ambushed by male assailants who brandished firearms and pilfered their belongings, one of the unfortunate souls felt the cold harshness of a gun against his skin, a cruel reminder of the price of misplaced trust, according to the LAPD Newsroom.
The Los Angeles Police Department's Hollenbeck Area detectives, who suspect that the same crime has been repeated with other unsung victims are urging those affected to come forward. Suspects Sergio Carrillo, 26, and Magdalena Gallegos, 23, both residents of Los Angeles, were apprehended on April 10, and both have bail set at an unwelcome $100,000 each, as per the LAPD Newsroom.
