A mother is calling for action after distressing footage surfaced showing a daycare worker at Kinder Kids Christian Preschool in Los Angeles manhandling her son by lifting the 4-year-old off the ground by his arms before eventually holding him upside down by his ankles. BrieAnn Battle, the mother of the child, demands justice and potentially the revocation of the preschool's license following what she claims to be a clear case of assault on her son, captured on security video. "He was fighting for his life," Battle said in a statement obtained by KTLA.

Battle has since filed a child abuse report with the Los Angeles Police Department and taken pictures of her son's bruises describing how the daycare worker snatched her son up by both shoulders and twisted him around; the incident led to the child being placed upside down and the employee exerting her body weight on him, which has left the mother in total disbelief. The video, which Battle claims does not fully capture the duration of the ordeal, provoked outrage as she narrated to KCAL News, "I am livid. I'm frustrated. She yanked my baby by the shoulders."

Battle, who has not returned her son to the childcare facility, warns other parents against the potential dangers and the necessity to remain vigilant. The alleged incident has not yet resulted in any criminal charges, although the LAPD has confirmed they're actively investigating the matter.

While Kinder Kids Christian Preschool has yet to formally respond to the alarming allegations, Battle remains resolute, echoing her intentions to KTLA, "I'm going to fight for my baby. [The daycare worker] will be brought to justice, I’m going to see to that." Meanwhile, her plea to other parents is a clarion call for accountability, and her actions a testament to a mother's ferocious advocacy for her child in the face of what she perceives as a gross mishandling of trust.
