A motorcyclist has been killed in a tragic accident on Tomales Petaluma Road, authorities confirmed. The crash occurred yesterday afternoon at around 2:26 pm, when the rider lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle and was ejected upon collision with a fence and utility pole.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) from Santa Rosa responded to the scene east of Twin Bridge Road, where they discovered the male motorcyclist who had sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the spot. The CHP has not yet been publicly able to identify what caused the rider to veer off the road. Calls to the Marin County Coroner's Office for information about the deceased were directed by authorities.

As the investigation continues, the CHP urges anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any relevant information to come forward. "If anyone has information about this crash, please call the Santa Rosa CHP office at (707)806-5600," the CHP stated in a recent social media post.
