The Philadelphia Police Department is urgently requesting the public's help in finding Julianna Merced, a 13-year-old girl who has gone missing. Described as roughly 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 90 pounds, she carries the youth's unmistakable energy with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of her disappearance, she donned a black polo shirt, and gray sweatpants, and sheltered herself in the comfort of a black hoody. Wandering off from the 6900 block of North 19th Street—where she lives—concerns for her welfare are growing with each passing hour.
The authorities have appealed to anyone with information on Julianna's whereabouts to immediately contact the police. The alert stresses the importance of community vigilance, asking residents to keep their eyes open for Julianna or anything that might help locate her.
As time since Julianna was last seen ticks by, the police and the community alike hold onto hope she will be found safe. Anyone who can aid in Julianna's return, identifying her by the traits of a 13-year-old described in the police report, should not hesitate to get in touch with the local authorities, underscoring the role of public assistance in such cases.
