A 35-year-old man, identified as Amarpreet Singh Sidhu, has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure after allegedly threatening a female Lyft driver and then engaging in lewd behavior, San Antonio police have reported. The incident, which took place on the night of February 11 around 8:30 p.m. after Sidhu was picked up from the Tipsy Cowgirl Bar, escalated quickly from a complaint about music to a harrowing experience for the driver, who has not been named to protect her privacy, as reported by KENS 5.

The driver recounted, initially informed by a security guard that Sidhu was intoxicated but likely not a danger, shortly after Sidhu made unsettling comments about assaulting his mother and sister whilst playing rap music on his cellphone; and then, according to a police affidavit, made a threatening remark saying "you're my next victim," as detailed in documents obtained by both KENS 5 and KSAT News. Following this, Sidhu began to touch the driver's cheek and attempted to manipulate the ride by changing his drop-off location in the app.

Attempting to defuse the situation, the driver headed to a Chevron gas station to remove Sidhu from her vehicle, upon which he became aggressive and left the car, after which he exposed himself in front of the vehicle and was observed committing a lewd act, as stated in the police documents. The driver was able to record Sidhu as he walked away and later identified him in a photo lineup, confirming he was the assailant, a step that aided law enforcement in making an arrest, as detailed by KSAT News.

After posting a $5,000 bond, Sidhu was released from jail; however, records show that he is now also facing a second Indecent Exposure charge in relation to another incident that occurred two weeks post the initial arrest, according to information made available online, which was additionally supported by court records, further investigations into the second incident are ongoing, as reported by KENS 5.
