A hit-and-run suspect got nabbed after a tire-screeching stunt gone wrong on a Texas freeway last month, authorities said. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to the 30800 block of the Northwest Freeway on March 4, responding to a report of a driver spinning donuts before hitting another car and fleeing the scene.

After hitting the pavement for clues, law enforcement tracked down Arthur Villasana, the man they claim was behind the wheel doing the donuts and he didn't stick around to chat with the other driver, according to a statement obtained by Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page.

The not-so-smooth operator was arrested and has been held at Harris County Jail, where he faces charges related to the incident. "Arthur Villasana was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Fail to Stop and Give Information," Herman's office reported. Details regarding Villasana's bond and court dates had yet to be released as of the latest update.
