In a nod to environmental stewardship and community engagement, Texas State Park rangers are teaming up with more than 40 H-E-B stores across Texas this weekend to celebrate Earth Day. Park representatives will be on hand to educate shoppers and share the spirit of outdoor appreciation.

As part of the Earth Day festivities, park rangers will set up booths at designated H-E-B locations, offering Texans a chance to better understand state park initiatives, wildlife conservation, and how they can get involved. The rangers' presence also marks an ongoing partnership with H-E-B, which has already seen the supermarket chain directly support Texas parks. Last year, H-E-B pledged $1 million as the presenting sponsor of the Texas State Parks Centennial Celebration, aiming to further mobilize Texans in the enjoyment of their natural heritage.
On the retail front, H-E-B's brand, Field & Future by H-E-B, encompasses over 120 products that promise sustainability and environmental friendliness. A portion of sales from these products benefits a variety of ecological projects, including the development of the new Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, as well as coastal conservation efforts and black bear restoration in West Texas. Shoppers can find these products at H-E-B stores and learn more about the brand's environmental impact by visiting their website.
For those looking to join the celebration, information about participating H-E-B stores and the park rangers' tabling times can be found on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's website. From Austin to McAllen and beyond, Texans have ample opportunities this weekend to support and discover more about the wilderness that defines much of the state's landscape.
