Three suspects are in the clink following a brazen hotel room heist in Loma Linda, as announced by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. On April 8, an unsuspecting guest was strong-armed into his accommodation by knife-wielding thug Joel Conway-Hines, 31, and accomplice Caston Clough, 25, who relieved him of booty worth some $3,000; outside, third crony Bailey Limbourne, 32, played lookout in their getaway SUV.
The victim, who remains nameless for safety, was accosted as he entered his room at the 25200 block of Redlands Blvd., where Conway-Hines reportedly flashed a hefty blade and made his threatening demand, with Clough hot on his heels the suspects loaded up their vehicle before splitting, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department detailed in their report.
Hot on the heels of the incident, deputies J. Leatherman and D. Price led the charge, bagging the trio and recovering a stash of the stolen goods – the alleged bandits now find themselves holed up in county jail slapped with armed robbery and conspiracy charges, bail is set at a cool $60,000 each.
