The Detroit Lions have for the second straight year completely sold out their season-ticket memberships. According to CBS Detroit, the demand has been so high that the Lions have instituted a waitlist for the 2025 season after season tickets for 2024, the second time in Ford Field's history that this has happened, quickly vanished.
The Lions' chief operating officer, Mike Disner, was notably bullish on the loyalty of the team’s fanbase, stating, "Our Lions Loyal Members are the heartbeat of our fanbase and the true foundation of our incredible home-field advantage," as reported by both Pride of Detroit and The Detroit News. The Lions notched their first division title and hosted playoff games for the first time in 30 years last season.
Hopeful fans looking to snag a membership will have to quickly pay up a non-refundable $100 deposit for each ticket, in a bid to potentially secure a seat for the 2025 season. This deposit will not only secure a spot on the waitlist but also grant prospective buyers priority access to single-game ticket presales and other Ford Field events in 2024. The Lions have topped off this offer with a limit to four tickets per waitlist signup, as added by CBS Detroit.
While full season passes might be a no-go for now, fans still have a chance to catch a piece of the action with a limited inventory of single-game tickets that will be up for grabs on the official team website and Ticketmaster, just as soon as the NFL unveils its full schedule. The Detroit News reported this will take place on the evening of May 15.
