Hilde Nights Brings Free Summer Concert Series to Plymouth, Starting with Jimmy Buffett Tribute BandSource: City of Plymouth, MN

Get ready to rock, Plymouth residents—the Hilde Performance Center is about to transform into an oasis of nostalgia and good vibes with its latest extravaganza, Hilde Nights. Kickstarting the series on June 14, Parrothead Paradise will steal the limelight with a free concert from 6-10 p.m., belting out Jimmy Buffett covers that'll have you searching for a lost shaker of salt. These seasoned performers promise to stack the deck with classics like "Margaritaville" and "Cheeseburger in Paradise," according to the City of Plymouth.

So grab a blanket or lawn chair, but don't forget your wallet—there will be plenty of grub on wheels and drinks to go around. It's a cash and credit affair, ensuring your thirst and hunger are just as well taken care of as your ears. The series, which includes a lineup of acts catering to varied musical tastes, will roll out additional events promising a blast from the '90s and a dose of country swagger in the following months.

Summer at the Hilde is shaping up to be a hit parade with July 19 seeing Gen X Jukebox donning the garb of '90s icons, and August 23 featuring the Tim Sigler Band and "The Voice" Season 15 runner-up Chris Kroeze. "The Hilde is the hub for all things music and entertainment right in the heart of Plymouth City Center,” Recreation Manager Kari Hemp was quoted saying in an announcement. She added, “We’re excited to bring acts to the Hilde stage that appeal to all age groups and genres – 90s hits, country classics, tropical rock and more."

These star-studded summer nights are free and open to the public, with a weather hotline available at 763-509-5205 to confirm events in case Mother Nature decides to be an uninvited guest. Getting to the venue might be a little tricky though, thanks to some pesky road works on Plymouth Boulevard.
