Houston police have gone public with surveillance video footage, hoping it will help them track down those behind a stabbing incident that left a 21-year-old man wounded last month. The attack occurred at an apartment complex at 11960 Airline Drive around 9:30 p.m. on March 30, according to officials.
The footage reveals two Hispanic males, a suspect and a person of interest, who were last seen cruising in a 2008 silver Cadillac CTS, bearing Texas license plates SNV1258. The authorities desperately need to find and apprehend the suspect before he can possibly commit another crime.
As noted in the video attached to a news release, the victim, whose identity remains private, was found in the parking lot by HPD patrol officers responding to the stabbing call. Suffering from multiple stab wounds, he was quickly transported to a nearby hospital. Since then, he has thankfully been released in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant V. Garcia and Detective V. Gamez reported that the victim seemed to have been involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect and person of interest prior to the violent encounter. Witnesses are being urged to immediately come forward with any detail that could lead to swiftly resolve the case.
Law enforcement is actively seeking tips from the public. Those with information on the identities of the suspect, the person of interest, or the whereabouts of the vehicle, are urged to contact the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800. Those wishing to remain anonymous can provide tips to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
