The Mental Health Promoters Program is set to be a beacon of support for those dealing with mental health challenges, further fueled by Skye Patrick, LA County Library Director, who commented, "No matter the challenge, LA County Library is here to support our customers," as stated by the County of Los Angeles, California.

May, recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, will feature workshops at the library designed to educate the community on various mental health topics, ranging from stress management to the intricacies of neurodevelopmental disorders. The Mental Health Promoters Workshops aim to furnish attendees with insights into depression, anxiety, addiction, and strategies for resilience, in addition to prevention and awareness for child abuse, bullying, and suicide, as per the County of Los Angeles, California. Specialized workshops will address the particular struggles faced by immigrant communities, providing tailored support which is critical in these tumultuous times.
