The Los Angeles Police Department is turning to the public for help in connecting a series of armed robberies to one suspect, following a string of crimes at convenience stores in The City of Angels. Detectives from the LAPD Rampart Division have pinpointed a suspect in the robberies which took place between May 1st and May 19th, 2024, specifically at neighborhood stores scattered across several Los Angeles streets, including Washington Boulevard, Venice Boulevard, Vermont Avenue, and West 3rd Street, as stated in an official release.

Yazmir Tavon Bagley, identified as the alleged armed robber, was apprehended at his 1100 West 17th Street residence without fuss; he was linked to the crimes by a victim and found with a replica pellet gun resembling the weapon seen in surveillance footage during the robberies, Bagley currently faces charges that include Assault with a Deadly Weapon and is held on an outstanding Felony Warrant from Inglewood Police Department, his booking photo has been released in the belief that he may be responsible for more yet-to-be-reported robberies.

Rampart Robbery Detectives, through diligent follow-up investigations, have achieved identification of Bagley from other victims from the mentioned incidents, the detectives are collaborating with the District Attorney’s Office to file and clear crimes from both the Rampart and Olympic Areas. As per an official LAPD announcement, with the suspect's mug shot now in circulation, authorities are urging any potential victims to come forward and reach out to the LAPD.
